Privacy Policy
Drager moves files from your phone to your computer over your own local network. We don't run servers that see your files, we don't ask you to make an account, and we don't collect data about you.
01
The short version
- Account
- None. There's nothing to sign up for.
- Your files
- Go straight from your phone to your paired computer over an encrypted local connection. They never pass through us or any third party.
- Collection
- We don't collect, sell or share personal data. The apps contain no advertising or third-party tracking code.
- Usage counts
- Off by default. If you turn them on, they stay on your device and are only shared if you choose to send a diagnostics report.
- Deleting
- Everything Drager keeps lives on your devices. Clear history or uninstall the apps and it's gone.
02
What stays on your devices
Drager needs a little information to work. All of it is stored locally, on the device that uses it.
Files you send
When you flick a photo or file, Drager reads it from the item you picked and streams it to your paired computer. The computer checks its fingerprint and saves it only to the folder you chose. Drager doesn't access your photo library or files beyond what you pick, and on the Mac it writes nowhere except your chosen folder.
Pairing details
Pairing creates a shared secret and a device identifier on each side so your devices can recognise each other. These are kept in the system's secure storage (such as the Keychain). Unpairing a device removes its trust.
Transfer history
Each app keeps a list of recent transfers: the file name, type, size, time, which paired device was involved and whether it succeeded. On the Mac it also remembers where the file was saved so you can open it. This history never leaves the device and you can clear it at any time.
Settings
Your choices, such as which side of the screen your phone sits on, the gesture sensitivity and the save folder, are stored in the app's local settings.
03
Usage counts and diagnostics
Anonymous usage counts (optional)
In Settings you can turn on anonymous usage counts. When enabled, the app notes events such as "pairing succeeded" or "transfer failed", along with how long it took, a rough size range and an error code. These counts never include file contents, file names or network addresses. They are held only in the app's memory on your device and are not sent anywhere automatically.
Diagnostics reports
If you need help, you can export a diagnostics report and send it to us yourself. The report contains the app and system version, device model, recent technical events and the usage counts above, if you turned them on. File names, file contents and pairing secrets are removed before the report is created. Nothing is shared unless you choose to send it.
04
Permissions
- Local network
- Lets your phone find your computer and connect to it on the same Wi-Fi. Your computer is only discoverable while it's set to receive.
- Photos & Files
- Uses the system picker, so Drager only sees the items you select.
- Save folder
- On the Mac, you pick the folder that received files go into. Drager has no access to other folders.
- Notifications
- Optional. Used on the Mac to tell you a file has arrived when the on-screen animation can't show.

This website
This site uses no cookies, analytics or third-party scripts, and it loads no fonts or resources from other services. Like any website, the company that hosts it may keep standard server logs, such as IP addresses and requested pages, to operate and protect the service.
06
The rest
Children
Drager doesn't collect personal data from anyone, including children.
Changes to this policy
If how Drager handles data changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top before the change ships.
